The attractions in my hometown
The attractions in my hometown
Ken: Wow, Mika, this forest is really beautiful. The trees are so tall and green!
Mika: Yes, it is. It reminds me of my hometown in the countryside. I used to walk in places like this.
Ken: Really? I’ve never lived in the countryside. I’m from the city.
Mika: The city is nice, but the countryside has fresh air and quiet nights. I love it.
Ken: That sounds peaceful. I usually hear cars and trains every night.
Mika: In my village, you can hear frogs and birds at night. It’s very relaxing.
Ken: That’s so different. What did you do for fun in your village?
Mika: We had festivals, small shops, and a big shrine. And nature was our playground.
Ken: A shrine? That sounds interesting. Was it near your house?
Mika: Yes, it was a short walk. I often went there with my family on weekends.
Ken: I like shrines. They’re calm and beautiful. Were there many trees around?
Mika: Yes, and in spring, cherry blossoms bloom all around. It’s so pretty.
Ken: I’ve only seen cherry blossoms in parks. I want to see them in a village.
Mika: You should come sometime. There’s also a hiking trail near my house.
Ken: Oh, I enjoy hiking! Is the trail long?
Mika: Not too long, but the view at the top is amazing. You can see the whole valley.
Ken: That sounds perfect. I’d love to try it. Maybe you can be my guide?
Mika: Of course! I’ll show you my favorite spots. And we can eat at my favorite cafe too.
Ken: That’s a great idea. I’m looking forward to visiting your hometown!
Mika: Me too. I think you’ll really like the nature, the food, and the peaceful life.
