Tom: Hi! My name is Tom. Nice to meet you!
Hitoshi: Hi, Tom! I’m Hitoshi. Nice to meet you too.
Tom: So, Hitoshi, can you tell me where you’re from?
Hitoshi: I’m from Osaka. It’s a big city in western Japan, famous for its food and comedy.
Tom: Oh, I’ve heard Osaka has amazing food! Do you have a favorite dish?
Hitoshi: Yes! I love takoyaki. It’s a ball-shaped snack with octopus inside. Have you tried it?
Tom: Not yet, but I really want to! By the way, I’ve heard about the Hanshin Tigers.
Hitoshi: People in Osaka love the Tigers. And I love the Tigers and baseball! I play on a local team every weekend.
Tom: That’s cool! Which position do you play?
Hitoshi: I usually play shortstop. It’s a challenging position, though.
Tom: Nice! So you’re really into the Tigers, huh?
Hitoshi: Yes! I’m a big fan of the team.
Tom: I should watch one of their games sometime!
Hitoshi: You should! Oh, I also play the guitar. I’ve been playing for five years.
Tom: Wow! Do you play in a band?
Hitoshi: No, just for fun. But I enjoy playing songs by my favorite Japanese rock bands.
Tom: That’s awesome! You seem like a really interesting person, Hitoshi.
Hitoshi: Thanks, Tom! I’d love to hear about you too!
