Responsible drinking
Responsible drinking
Sam: Hey Daddy, my friends invited me to a drinking party tonight.
Kelly: A drinking party? Sounds fun, but you must be careful.
Sam: I know. I just want to enjoy time with my friends.
Kelly: That’s okay, but don’t drink too much. It’s not good for your body.
Sam: I won’t. I’ll watch how much I drink.
Kelly: Good. If you drink too much, you might do something you regret.
Sam: I’ll be careful. I want to stay in control.
Kelly: I trust you. Just make sure you don’t follow bad ideas from others.
Sam: Yes, I’ll think before I act. I promise.
Kelly: Also, never drive if you drink. That’s very dangerous.
Sam: Of course not. I’ll take a taxi or walk home.
Kelly: I’m glad to hear that. Call me if you need help anytime.
Sam: Thanks, Daddy. That makes me feel safe.
Kelly: You’re welcome. I just want you to be responsible.
Sam: I will be. I won’t let alcohol change how I act.
Kelly: That’s important. Stay true to yourself and keep calm.
Sam: I’ll enjoy the time and also stay smart.
Kelly: That’s the right attitude. You’re growing up well.
Sam: I want to have fun but not get into trouble.
Kelly: That’s good to hear. Please don’t come home too late either.
Sam: I’ll try to be home before midnight.
Kelly: Great. Have a good time, but don’t forget our talk.
Sam: I won’t. Thanks for always looking out for me.
Kelly: Always, son. Enjoy the party and come home safe.
