My great mum
My great mum
Kenny: It’s nice to get to know you better, George.
George: Thanks, Kenny. I think we’re already good friends.
Kenny: So, can you tell me a little about your family?
George: Sure. I was raised by my single mother, Pam. I still live with her.
Kenny: That’s nice. Do you get along well with her?
George: Yes, very well. She’s always there for me, especially when I feel down.
Kenny: Sounds like she supports you a lot.
George: She really does. For example, when I broke up with my ex-girlfriend, she cheered me up.
Kenny: That’s very kind of her.
George: Also, she worked full-time while taking care of me and the house.
Kenny: Wow, she must be very hardworking.
George: She is. And she’s also very positive.
Kenny: Oh? In what way?
George: When she divorced my dad, she still smiled and said, “Now I can start fresh!”
Kenny: That’s amazing. She sounds really strong.
George: She is the strongest person I know. I’m lucky to have her as my mom.
Kenny: I can see why you admire her so much.
George: I do. I always try to make her proud.
Kenny: I’m sure she is proud already.
George: Thanks, Kenny. That means a lot to me.
