Dreaming of becoming a rugby player
Dreaming of becoming a rugby player
Mathew: Mom, I want to become a professional rugby player someday.
Jenny: That’s a big dream, Mathew. What makes you want that?
Mathew: I really love rugby. Playing makes me feel alive.
Jenny: I know you enjoy it, but professional sports are very hard.
Mathew: That’s true, but I’m ready to work hard for it.
Jenny: I admire your passion, but what about the danger?
Mathew: Rugby has become safer now. The rules have changed.
Jenny: It’s still a tough sport. Injuries can happen easily.
Mathew: I’ll be careful. I’ll train properly and wear safety gear.
Jenny: Alright. As long as you put safety first.
Mathew: I will. And there are good career options after playing too.
Jenny: Like what?
Mathew: Some players become coaches or work in sports media.
Jenny: That sounds more stable. It’s smart to think ahead.
Mathew: Yes, and I also want to support our family in the future.
Jenny: That’s sweet of you. But money isn’t everything.
Mathew: I know. But I want to use my dream to do something good.
Jenny: I respect that. Dreams can be powerful.
Mathew: Thanks, Mom. I’ll do my best to make you proud.
Jenny: I believe in you, Mathew. Just always take care of yourself.
