How do you manage your time?
How do you manage your time?
Emma: Hey David, do you ever feel like you don’t have enough time to finish your work?
David: Yes, all the time. I think I need to get better at time management.
Emma: Me too. I try to make a list every morning. I write the most important things first.
David: That’s a good idea. I often just do easy tasks first, and then I run out of time.
Emma: Yeah, I used to do that too. Now, I ask myself, “What is really important today?”
David: I should try that. Also, I get distracted easily. Do you?
Emma: Yes! My phone is a big problem. I put it in a drawer while I work.
David: Smart move. I also close my email when I need to focus.
Emma: Good tip. And don’t forget to take breaks. A short walk helps me feel fresh.
David: True. I often skip breaks, but then I feel tired in the afternoon.
Emma: Same here. I set a timer for every 60 minutes to remind myself to stand up.
David: That’s nice. Maybe I’ll try doing some stretching between tasks.
Emma: Do it! It really helps. Also, I stop work at 6 p.m. no matter what.
David: Wow, really? That must help your stress level.
Emma: Yes, it does. I can’t do everything in one day, so I do my best and rest.
David: I like that. I think I try too hard to do everything in one day.
Emma: Let’s both try to focus on what’s important and take better care of our time.
David: Agreed! Thanks for the talk, Emma. I feel more motivated now.
Emma: You're welcome, David! Let’s both do our best this week.
